Long and difficult path turned out to R. Kelly when writing the album “Untitled”. This was to see the light even in 2008, but the release did not take place for two good reasons. It all started with the fact that material from the album, which originally had the name “12 Play, 4th Quarter”, hit the internet for a long time before the release of the plate. The second reason, according to many, was a judicial process charged Kelly in sexual relations with minors. In spite of all these misunderstandings R. Kelly managed to release a new album, although this happened much later than planned. Plus, for obvious reasons, rapper had to completely change the concept of the album, including his name to “Untitled”.
For many years, R. Kelly most of his work dedicated problem, or more precisely the subject that he most interesting – sex. But he does so skillfully, and never repeated, so the composition R. Kelly never bored. The song titled “Like I Do”, a kind of instruction from R. Kelly, about how to live and get maximum enjoyment from it. Then the rapper demonstrates his entire emancipation and straightness in the composition of “Bangin ‘The Headboard”. Distinguishing feature of R. Kelly, is his love of metaphors, which he shows us with pleasure in the composition “Number One (Feat. Keri Hilson)”. In this song, he compares the sex with the creation of hits, and certainly no one will doubt the competence of R. Kelly, in relation to both processes. Love lyrics of the singer very well dilutes the club track with the eloquent title “I Love The DJ”, a song “Supaman High (Feat. OJ Da Juiceman)”, no doubt, be called the most successful joint work on the plate. By the end of the plate, in the composition “Pregnant (Feat. Tyrese, Robin Thicke And The-Dream)”, R. Kelly sings about a strong love for the girl, from whom he would like to have a child, reminding us that sex is not only for our pleasure.
In recording the album “Untitled” in addition to R. Kelly attended by several well-known stars, but surprisingly, this list was quite modest when compared with previous works rapper. But this new album R. Kelly – “Untitled”, did not become worse, but rather fans of the singer will be able to fully enjoy his work.
