Then comes the turn of Alex Turner’s vocals, which remains the main attraction of the music. Track “Dance Little Liar” «clings” excellent guitar parts, followed by an excellent example of combining music and text in the song “Crying Lightning”. The tension in this track builds up with incomparable poems Turner, and then comes the emotional breakdown, accompanied by the coordinated work of the bass and drums. I must say that the guys work hard on the general atmosphere of the entire disk and the mood of each song.
Yes, “Humbug”, – this is definitely a step in the direction of the course, which followed the Arctic Monkeys when writing the previous records. But this surely is the whole charm of the new album Arctic Monkeys, because if you always follow clear rules and adhere to the “script”, you will never be able to create a masterpiece …
